Your Town, Your Candidates, Your Questions, Your Choice

The Coastside Young Professionals group of Half Moon Bay is excited to announce on October 29^th they will be hosting a City Council candidate’s town hall forum, “Your Town, Your Candidates, Your Questions, Your Choice”.  With an election date of November 3^rd, it may be your last opportunity to meet local candidates in the casual setting at Sam’s Chowder House (www.samschowderhouse.com).

 

CYP is excited that all of the candidates will be in full attendance.  The format of questions will focus on Half Moon Bay’s future despite recent political setbacks.  It is a chance to see if the candidates are in touch with younger voters and explain how they plan on making our community a better place to live.

 

The function begins at 5:30pm and no RSVP is necessary. The candidate forum will begin at 6:30pm, so don’t be late.  Even though it is planned to be slightly more informal than other events, we expect that everyone in the crowd will be courteous and acknowledge their bravery for running for their position.

 

The Coastside Young Professionals group brings together youthful business owners, fresh management talent and up and coming company supervisors between the ages of 21-39, who are interested in making a difference in our business community and growing their business through networking opportunities on the San Mateo County Coastside. The goal of the CYP group is to build and grow their businesses while creating long lasting relationships with business partners in the area. CYP members get together regularly at social happy hours and monthly meetings to promote their businesses and learn about other local businesses in a fun, energetic atmosphere. If you would like to meet other young professionals in your area this is a wonderful opportunity to build your local business network and a have a great time doing it.

CYP membership is free benefit to Half Moon Bay Coastside and Pacifica Chamber member and their employees.

Not a chamber member? Not to worry you can still become a member for $35 a year and if your company becomes a chamber member your member ship fee will be refunded to you.
